For Sinus Congestion

Steam Inhalation: Add a few eucalyptus leaves or essential oil drops to a bowl of hot water, cover your head with a towel, and inhale deeply. Plus if you have some rose to add to this!

Elderberry: Boosts immunity and shortens cold duration. Elderberry is packed with antioxidants and vitamins that help the body fight off infections and reduce inflammation.
How to Use:
Syrup: Simmer 1 cup of dried elderberries with 3 cups of water and ½ cup honey. Take 1 tbsp daily.
Tea: Steep dried elderberries with ginger and cinnamon for a warming drink.
Garlic: Natural antibiotic that fights colds and infections. Garlic also has antibacterial and antiviral properties, supporting cardiovascular health and lowering blood pressure.
How to Use:
Raw: Crush and eat 1 clove daily (best with honey or mixed into food).

Lozenges: Find natural marshmallow lozenges to coat the throat.
Safe Herbs for Pregnant Mamas
Pregnancy of course requires extra caution, but these gentle herbs provide relief. Always check with your doctor first!
Raspberry Leaf

Mamas often use this in the third trimester for preparing for labor, and helping to ease childbirth by toning the uterine muscles. It’s also a delicious herbal drink over ice!
How to Use:
Tea is the best way to do this! Steep 1 tsp dried raspberry leaf per 1 cup of hot water for 10 minutes. Make in batches and store in the fridge!
Chamomile
Chamomile relieves stress, improves sleep, and soothes digestion. Chamomile also has anti-inflammatory properties and can help with anxiety and skin health.
How to Use:
Brew fresh or dried chamomile flowers in hot water for 5 minutes.
